STEFAN ROLLWAGE

Senior Consultant

Mr. Rollwage has over thirty-three years of operational, project management, corporate policy and planning experience in the federal government, with a particular emphasis in two functional areas, materiel management and information technology. Within the Canadian federal government, he has held senior positions at the manager and executive level in all functional areas of supply and purchasing, as well as in areas of information technology and process reengineering. Mr. Rollwage has been directly responsible for initiating, implementing and directing departmental procurement and corporate staff organizations within regions and headquarters, for establishing and directing major federal government systems development projects in electronic procurement, and for an array of special assignments for the Deputy Minister and Assistant Deputy Minister levels, including governance and structural matters as well as national operations initiatives. Utilizing strong facilitation and group management skills, he has both participated and played a leading role in inter-departmental and internal working groups, focused primarily on administrative renewal and innovative, strategic technology projects. Mr. Rollwage has proven well able to reconcile differing points of view and ensure that effective courses of action are developed. He has successfully applied that knowledge and experience in serving international clients in Africa and Asia.

In the field of materials management policy and procedures, Mr. Rollwage has analyzed business processes; designed new corporate policies and operational procedures as well as corporate staff and operational organizations; identified, developed, advocated and realized strategic program opportunities; developed national performance measurement standards for acquisitions program activities; and directly managed the implementation of extensive business renewal and information technology projects. For the past seven years, Mr. Rollwage has lectured and presented extensively on procurement, electronic commerce and business renewal to professional associations, seminar groups and technical meetings throughout Canada and the USA . He has excellent oral and written communication skills, and has proven to deal effectively and sensitively with Ministers, elected officials, appointed senior officials, technical staff and business leaders.
